The Henry County Community Foundation recently awarded a grant for $1,000 to OSU Extension, Henry County to be used in promotional efforts for the “Jump into Foods & Fitness” program. “Through this program, OSU Extension, with the cooperation of The City of Napoleon Parks & Recreation Department, Napoleon Area Schools, St. Paul Lutheran School and the Henry County Hospital, provide nutritious meals to school-aged children when school is not in session. This meal is provided along with nutrition education and physical activities for the overall health of the children in our community.” said Vickie Roth of OSU Extension.
